The current market for this set is experiencing significant price inflation, primarily driven by overwhelming demand from the U.S. and rising costs from our Japanese distributors. Despite the set’s undeniable beauty and appeal, we believe its value should sit around $50 to $60 USD. Unfortunately, current market trends have pushed prices much higher, and we don’t feel comfortable contributing to this inflationary environment.
The release of Battle Partners is set for January 24th, and we’ll be keeping a close eye on pricing trends in Japan after launch. Once we see the market stabilizing or prices returning to a fairer range, we’ll secure stock and make it available to you.
Another key reason for our decision is rooted in our commitment to ethical business practices. We refuse to engage in tactics such as canceling pre-orders to relist items at higher prices. Your trust means everything to us, and we want to ensure you feel confident shopping at Kolsters TCG.
